It started with fishnet stockings and a camera. Here we are seven years later with a house, a home studio and a bus. The energy of creation perpetuating the energy of creation.
MY philosophies on love and relationships?
Keep the LUST alive, I say. Keep the music playing. Passion on high. Have the hard conversations and confront what you'r avoiding. It will hurt a lot less. Be radical with your honesty. Be open about attraction to others - it's normal. So is jealousy. Normal does not always equal healthy. Find the balance. The easiest way to be faithful is to be transparent. Do your part to keep your own fire stoked for your partner. Write your love story on the walls of your bedroom. Keep up with your friends. Anything harmful on its own is magnified in isolation. Novelty keeps you feeling alive - continue to create new shared experiences together. You can be loved and still feel unwanted. Go beyond enjoying, beyond celebrating and pursue each other. Own your part. Own your insecurities, learn to work through them. Be mindful and supportive of each others autonomy. Grow together. Pack card games in picnic baskets and ride your bikes to the park. Keep your partner new to you.
The baseline should always be friendship.
Be free - together.
Photo shoot collaboration with my partner, Chris Randall. Masterfully executed using a tilt shift lens. My process is usually meditative. Done with music and movement and together its more of a witnessing. I design the space and the outfits and lead with creative direction and Chris brings it to the next level with his abundance of talent and skill. Look at the composition. Then the edits are by me.
